Who Says Saving Isn’t Sexy?

Welcome! There’s a few things you should know about this website. First things first- If you follow the guidance in these pages, you WILL save money. Even if you don’t follow exactly, you will be paying less than you currently do for items you use every day.

The bad news? There isn’t really…it just takes a little time to learn all the ins and outs. You will need to change how you shop, and how you think about shopping. It may seem strange at first, but if you are willing to learn, I am willing to teach. There’s no gimmicks, and there’s nothing in it for me. These days that might seem hard to believe, but with the difficult economic times we are facing, I just want to share with everyone my methods for saving money. There’s no profit in this for me (with the exception of any ad revenue, which costs you as the reader nothing).  This site was born out of requests from others for me to teach them how I “do it”…”it” being my love for getting amazing deals.

The good news? Everything. From this moment on, you will never pay full retail price for your purchases ever again. Why? Because you don’t have to anymore.

Why is there such a need to save money on your groceries, toiletries and other home goods? Because if you think about it…there are only so many purchases you make on a daily, weekly or monthly basis that you can REALLY have control over the cost. Rent or mortgage? That’s fairly set in stone. Car payment? Sure you can refinance, but that will only get you so far. You can get rid of your cable and internet, but then how are you going to read my blog?

We all have had to make sacrifices to make ends meet. Well what if I told you that I can help you make less sacrifices? What if you didn’t have to give up your favorite foods? Or your favorite brand of shampoo? Or makeup? Or if your situation happens to be, or (God forbid) become more dire? What if you had to make the choice to put a gallon of gas in your car to get to work, or give your kids a healthy breakfast?

Even if your situation is not like mine: paycheck to paycheck, you can still sock away the cash you save for a luxury purchase you’ve been eyeing, or that trip you’ve been dying to take.

So open your mind, and close your wallet. Take a few moments to read the Beginner’s section by clicking the tab above. Feel free to use the comments section to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer.  You can also email me via the Contact Me tab with questions, comments or feedback.

I look forward to helping you save on your grocery bills!
Welcome and thanks for reading!
