January flew by! I have no idea how it’s February already, but I am so glad winter is almost over. Here in the valley in Oregon, we have very mild winters but lots of rain. LOTS. Of. Rain. When we were planning on moving here, my husband said “Are you sure you’re ok with this? It rains a LOT.” I thought he was exaggerating. He was not. It’s not uncommon to go literally weeks without seeing the sun. Not even a peek. Its super depressing and I cannot wait for summer. After 9 months of gloom, you can bet I will be spending all of June, July and August outside. I plan to head to the coast for some ocean time. We’re also going to be fluffing our nest a little and sprucing up our back yard to breath a little life and color into our space. I even bought a pool to use in the back yard. They are having a crazy deal on Amazon and this Intex pool is 50% off. I know you’re probably not going to be ready for pools for months, but at a price like that I just couldn’t resist!
Anyway, enough about the relaxation on the horizon and back to the real reason you’re here: my blog income report for January! January was a slow month for me, not a lot of sponsored content. I did pick up a few new projects for our VA clients which was nice. Ps: We also have a few more openings left for new clients, so if you’re looking for an awesome VA team let me know!
Virtual Assistant: $714.00
Sponsored Content: $525.00
Affiliate Programs: $114.45
Grand Total: $1353.45
You’ll notice this month’s income is a bit smaller than December’s blog income. That’s because my affiliate income and sponsored posts tend to peak in the 30-60 days before Christmas. I got paid for most of those items late in December, and some paid out in January. I’m working on some more great content so I’m hoping that will help pick things up a bit. I have seen a bit of a bump in traffic in the last few days which is great! I would love to see some of you stick around!
Speaking of sponsored posts, I have had a few other bloggers asking me where I get these opportunities. Most of them come from various blogging networks I belong to. Primarily, I work a lot with Social Fabric (aka: Collective Bias). I work with them a ton! Some of the other networks I use are Clever Girls Collective, SITS Girls (aka: Massive Sway), Millenial Central,
So that’s it for this month’s blog income report. If you have any questions, leave them below in the comments and I will be happy to answer them. Also, if you have any suggestions about specific content you’d love to see here, I’d be happy to hear it!
